What's the confirmation block?

When an account is added to a marketplace or friend, your business isn't "finished" as soon as it's posted but must be listed in one of the blocks on the chain before. Once the business has been placed into the last block, it counts as 1 confirmation. Then each time a new blog is added from that blog, the number of confirmations will increase progressively to 2, 3, 4 and so on.

Why wait for multiple confirmations?

The reason for this is that blockchains work in "probability" rather than reality. In cases where it's hard to find the latest blocks, one or two blocks may be replaced if a competing chain of blogs temporarily replaces them. This phenomenon is called reorganization (or reorg).

The more verified a business is, the more work has been done on that transaction, making it harder for businesses to revert. Simply put, verification is a measure of how confident you are that your money is actually "stuck" in the blockchain.

How about depositing money into the market?

Cryptocurrency exchanges and stores often set a minimum number of confirmations before your deposit is considered complete, and this figure varies across all networks. Furthermore, it also depends on the value involved. Small payments may be accepted after only one or two confirmations, but high-value transfers may require several more confirmations to be credited to an account as a security measure against reorg.

Wait for confirmation in exchange for what?

Basically, waiting for confirmations is the trade-off between speed and reliability. Transactions that still have a verification center are transactions that have already been distributed out on the network but haven't yet received protection from the network. If it was guaranteed to be the last transaction since it wasn't confirmed there would be little risk, but in fact those transactions could be turned back.

For common users in both Thailand and Myanmar, what should be remembered is: If you see a status "pending" on your wallet or marketplace don't panic Businesses are usually waiting for confirmation while if receiving money from strangers or high-value ones need to verify just before delivering goods or services
