What is Ethereum ?
Ethereum is a public blockchain network that allows anyone to create software. The idea was proposed by Vitalik Buterin in 2013 before its actual launch in 2015. A selling point from early blockchains is that it wasn't designed solely for money transfer, but as a "platform" where developers write their own automated programs called smart contract and anyone can build zero-distributed applications (such as dApps ) on the network.
This network has its own main code is ETH which does both functions simultaneously
ETH What can you do with it?
The first part is the "oil" of the network every time you send a business or call smart contract will have to pay a fee called gas by paying ETH the more complicated work, the more gas it takes
The second is ETH which is held and traded as a digital asset in itself like other cryptocurrencies on the market including on trading platforms in Thailand that accept currency pairs THB
smart contract is about what in your daily life?
Most of the activities that people talk about when referring to Ethereum are built on smart contract in total:
- Manufacture from materials of any heading App for borrowing and buying assets without going through banks
- NFT and Used in place of a specific digital item, such as artwork or game items
- DAO and 組織 thatชุมชนร่วมกันโหวต และบริหารจัดการ
The point is that these codes run on computer networks distributed around the world, not on any one company's servers. Anyone can check how these apps work
What is the Merge and what changes?
In September 2022 Ethereum will undergo a major upgrade called the Merge by changing its default mechanism from Proof of Work which requires energy-intensive mining to Proof of Stake where inspectors ( validator ) will lock ETH to help secure the network instead of investing in drilling machines.
For general users, this means that the network no longer relies on its original hardware and ETH holders have the option to participate in maintaining the network through coin locking.
How does this relate to users in Thailand and Myanmar?
ETH is one of the highest-quality digital assets and trades on a platform that has been licensed by the SEC (Thailand) Thailand with its currency pair THB which in turn comes with restrictions to traditional payment systems. Blockchains such as Ethereum are used for cross-border holdings and value transfer.
