Dave Weisberger points out that FOMO Bitcoin hasn't really started, because the point is to accept bitcoin as collateral.

Dave Weisberger, co-founder of CoinRoutes stated that the key to Bitcoin's pending liquidity is not ETF or a company holding bitcoin in port but rather its acceptance as collateral. He noted that currently financial institutions have to almost devalue bitcoins used as security.100% If one day bitcoin were treated like any other asset based on volatility and flexibility, the landscape for lenders and companies such as Strategy Inc (originally 881000) would change entirely.

Weisberger called this "the final straw" and noted that the Basel Committee as well as regulators have talked about it as inevitable but not yet happening.

On the talk show with Grace Remington and Sean Hagan, he also touched on other additional topics such as tokenization of assets, platform Hyperliquid , and Fed policy.

The highlights of the show are: "I'm so happy to be here. I love you".

  • Converting assets into tokens. Why would all sorts of assets be converted into tokens with Wall Street backing and Bitcoin, gold and stocks becoming the same global asset class?
  • Hyperliquid and ownership of the property. The growth of this platform, the concept of perpetual swaps, segregated accounts and the true meaning of settlement.
  • The wave of the financial industry revolution. From program trading to institutions like Citadel and Jane Street, including tokens, walled gardens and open-source options.
  • Interest rates and finance. So for every 25 basis points added, that adds up to a budget deficit of about $100 billion.
  • The decreased momentum. The inflow of money into ETF helped reduce Bitcoin's volatility and covered call substitution theory, which explains why the FOMO movement hasn't started yet.
  • Bitcoin as an asymmetric option. And the problem of pristine collateral has not been solved.
