After temporarily shutting down the system due to a breach, MultiversX is back up and running but Kraken continues to block new EGLD purchases.

What happened to MultiversX ?
The MultiversX blockchain network issued the token EGLD announced on Thursday, September 24, that Mainnet was back online after a five-day outage due to hacking. Official technical account @CodeMultiversX indicated it had installed an upgrade to recover the system smoothly; block production resumed and normal activity on the network could resume. Afterward, the gateway officially displayed a timestamp blurb of Sept. 24 confirming that the new block service network is real.[4]
The source of the problem is @ MultiversX reported on September 19 that an attempt to attack a virtual machine's atomicity loophole caused an incorrect state change, temporarily shutting down the network.
Why isn't Kraken working on EGLD ?
For Kraken 's customers, this is not over. A review of the incident page for Kraken , on September 24, found that trading pair EGLD was still in cancel-only mode and also blocked deposit-withdrawal without a notice to resolve the issue.
The cancellation-only mode means that the user can only cancel an original order placed, but cannot place new orders or make a trade.
How important is the timeline of events?
The timeline of Kraken began before the network shut down again, i.e., Kraken , first reported on September 16 that there may have been a delay at the deposit-withdrawal gateway EGLD prior to being upgraded to cancel-only with a stop for deposits on September 19, which was the same day as the MultiversX hack announcement due to the initial warning from Kraken .
How does this affect EGLD ?
What needs to be understood is that "network back to normal" and "trading normally" are two different things. The newly created blog does not remove the trading restrictions of OXCHANGE or guarantee that exchanges are open for deposits. @CodeMultiversX warns that trades and withdrawals on some exchanges may remain suspended for several days while each platform carries out its own opening process, and advises users to always check official announcements from previously used exchanges.
As of September 24, the incident page for Kraken does not indicate when the new system will be launched. The signal that users of EGLD should look forward to is an announcement from Kraken , confirming that trading and deposit-withdrawal functions have been reopened, while the latest status of Kraken still determines what customers of this exchange can do now.
A warning of danger.
