The Lido was launched using a high-resolution Ethereum detector with an intentionally small start.

Lido opened the 0x02 Community staking module for Ethereum with a progressively limited start-up fund.
Lido launched the 0x02 Community staking module on October 23 to unlock a non-proprietary way for validator providers on Ethereum that could accommodate larger effective balances, but this initial opening was intentionally limited and not meant to deliver the full stake of validator one might be able to in the future.
The provisioning is designed to be separate, the providers set up a collateral pool. The stake that Lido manages comes in phases; the original 0x01 provider can continue operating without switching to a new module, while validator with higher sizes rely on two queues: an initial and complementary money queue.
The deposit and the down payment.
According to the release announcement, 0x02 Community staking Module set a premium of 32 ETH for the first key and 30 ETH for each additional key. The stake that Lido allocates for new keys is paid initially32 ETH before and after activation through a separate queue.
The module starts with a ratio ceiling0.01% of the total value locked in Lido Core and has 32 payload seats. Additional capacity expansions must go through an incremental governance process, and there needs to be sufficient protocol inflows so that balance maximization is technically capped rather than guaranteed for immediate provisioning by each provider.
EIP-7251 enlarges the controller Ethereum with fewer keys
A modification of Ethereum under this module is the EIP-7251 which allows an effective balance of one validator to be increased2,048 ETH while still requiring lower activation requirements. As a result, more stake quantities can be replaced by fewer validator keys.
For providers, fewer keys may reduce some of the complexity of management tasks, but conversely, the value that each provider controls through a particular set of operating systems will be more important. Counting the number of keys alone is therefore a weaker way to estimate how widespread the stake distribution is.
This difference is consistent with the intensity question examined in Network Resilience's article,NewsBTC because independent providers, diversity of infrastructure and related failures are all doubly important to validator .
The bail is just the beginning of a decision.
The provider's experience doesn't end at the deposit, but depends on how long one key waits to be activated, how quickly a stake is added and how reliably validator works.
It's also important to be careful when comparing self-staking, where the provider who puts down money and receives stakes from the protocol versus a self-stakeholder that spends all of its own funds perform different functions even if using percentages in the same head can hide different factors, roles and sources of return.
A large organization's stakeETH is an example of a stake decision that involves a large balance, but the new pathway through 0x02 Community staking Module focuses on providing stake services delivered via Lido by independent providers rather than decisions made by the entity holding the stake.ETH
This module is also separate from the processing limitation test of Ethereum accepting a larger validator does not increase the transaction volume that one block application can directly handle
A point to watch after a phased launch.
A step-by-step release provides the key principles to be observed: activated keys, completed funding and approved upgrades. These indicators will tell whether unauthorized releases are expanding in practice rather than just according to the largest balance at design permission.
